BOOK REVIEW - Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALS Lead and Win (Jocko Willink & Leif Babin)

Now, this book is extremely hard to write a review on, because it's one of those types of books where the title is an acute summary relinquishing you of the need to buy the book. However, I shall try my best. This book is about leadership coming from the perspective of 2 Navy SEAL officers, who fought in Ramadi, Iraq, where the main goal was to defend cities from terrorist attacks. However, it also talks about real-world experiences from these 2 men, and some really inspirational stories from their time.

For me, this is an extremely interesting book, and it's not because it's about leadership. Really, to write the truth, absolutely anyone can write a book. But, when you have experience in that matter, each point makes sense, and comes from your heart. And that is what I believe has happened here. These 2 warriors have experienced a lot on the battlefield about leadership.

Anyways, I really like this book. Not only do I find it's morals true, it provides valuable information about life for a war soldier and a civilian. Some of the relationships are so emotional, I felt like crying. Overall, great book, would recommend that you buy this book, even if you know all about it because of the title.
